The Fellrunner Buses are operated and driven by local volunteers for the benefit of the community. They serve most of the villages in the Penrith area with services to Penrith or Carlisle. Most services allow for about 3 hours in Penrith and 4 hours in Carlisle.
Drop off points in Penrith are: the Health Centre, Sainsburys, King Street, Railway station/Aldi/B & Q (by request), Booths/Morrisons, Town Hall, and the Bus Station. Return journeys pick up from the Bus Station, Morrisons and, on request, the Health Centre.
Drop off points in Carlisle are any bus stop on London Road, Botchergate, Court Square (access to station) and the Bus Station, with The Cumberland Infirmary by request. Return from the Bus Station.
