This very special full day photography workshop is guided by Amy Bateman, British Life Photographer of the Year, author and photographer of Forty Farms, and Rich Jones, a Cumbria based Professional Photographer.
The course will be held at Yew Tree Farm, a quintessential Lake District farm and intrinsically linked with Beatrix Potter. And at the nearby picturesque Yew Tree Tarn which also and has beautiful woodland surrounding it.
We will spend a morning watching Herdwicks being shepherded, a portrait session with the iconic Herdwicks, and we will also be able to photograph other farm animals, traditional farm buildings, and real life action on a Lake District Farm.
In the afternoon we will mooch around the beautiful Yew Tree Tarn, there's a flat circular walk, deciduous trees which are great for practicing compositions in the woodland and the tarn is known for it's wide range of wildlife.
Hot beverages will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch.
The day is designed not to be hampered by bad weather so please bring waterproofs and you will definitely need your wellies for the farm.
