Outdoor Mobility - Tramper hire in Langdale.
One Tramper is available to hire from the Langdale Leisure Centre for a riverside trip, passing the shores of Elterwater and turning back at Chesters Café near Skelwith Bride for a return journey back to the Leisure Centre. An accessible toilet and portable hearing loop available in the Langdale hotel.
The daily hire slots are at 9am and 1pm.
The sessions last for 3 hours.
The return trip is approximately 6.5km/4 miles on a mostly level path with only slight hills.
Members must be accompanied on the route by another person during the tramper hire session, due to limited or no mobile signal.
All Tramper users must stay on the designated Tramper route path.
